Join our staff and volunteer community to restore and improve the natural habitat for plants and animals, including the conservation of rare communities, and invasive plant removal on our beautiful 185 acres of land.

We currently have openings for volunteers for the Raptor Program. Volunteers assist during their weekly morning shift from 9:00am – 12:00pm, with additional weekend and event responsibilities. The goals for volunteers in the program are to provide care for the education birds, and assist Raptor Educators in educational programs throughout the community. Volunteers must be 18 or older, commit to the program for at least one year, and be interviewed by a staff member.

Every four-month term of The Birding Academy includes the following learning modes, ranging from month-long deep dives to casual and low commitment meet-ups. This allows learners to customize and scale their participation based on what works best for them. Topics covered change each term, providing opportunities for fresh discoveries and new connections.
